From Trash to Treasure

In a quest to eat a healthier, organic, homemade diet I bake bread for Dale's lunch every weekend. This weekend I was so pumped because my agave nectar came in from iHerb.com and I was going to use it in my bread instead of honey this week. The particular recipe I use calls for warm water and you mix it with yeast and honey. Well I guess this week I made my water too warm because after going through all the steps I got to the end and let my bread rise. I set my kitchen timer for 45 min. I got up to check it after 30 min because I love to see how big the dough has gotten. I Took off the damp towel to find unleavened bread. Crap! What do I do now? I started googling "what to do with unleavened bread". I found a fabulous recipe for pita bread. Since I already made the dough I just followed the recipe from there you can find the recipe here http://budgetbytes.blogspot.com/2010/12/pita-bread-078-recipe-010-serving.html My "trash" turned in to something super tasty and VERY fun to watch in the oven!!!
